Location: Old Clinton Historic District, Clinton Georgia

Dates and Times:
    May 2, 2015: Saturday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
    May 3, 2015: Sunday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Admission: $5 adults, $3 ages 6-18, free ages 5 and under.     Bring the family and enjoy what you see and do as you stroll the early 19th-century streets of the Old Clinton Historic District. You can admire the architecture of the surviving antebellum structures. Visit the authentic camps of the Civil War re-enactors and enjoy the entertainment as they parade through town.

    Do not miss the exciting recreation of two Civil War battles that were actually fought in Jones County at 2:00 pm. each day. Tour the 1809 -10 McCarthy-Pope House, Miss Annie’s Store built in the early 1900s, and the 1889 Pine Ridge School Museum. This early county seat was settled in 1808, and by the late 1820s, had become the 4th largest town in Georgia.

  8:05 pm. - Memorial Service at Old Clinton Cemetery
