Law Enforcement Day, Pride Day
Law Enforcement Day allows free admission to any active or retired law enforcement or corrections personnel who presents a badge and/or picture ID from the department from which they are or were employed.
Pride Day annual all-day event will include a flag raising ceremony, LGBT choirs and parade at 6:00 pm.

Dairy Day, Senior Citizen's Day, Wade Shows Midway Monday
Dairy Day - fun activities such as the local celebrity milkshake contest and then the Big cheese auction at the Chevy Court Pavilion starting at 10 am plus Special Day Parade at 6:00 pm.
Senior Citizen’s Day - Senior citizens, sixty (60) years of age and older, are offered free admission on these 2 days of the Fair. ID showing date of birth may be requested to allow free admittance. Fairgoers are able to make use of the Fair’s internal tram network for free on these two senior days with the service running 9:00 am - 8:00 pm.
Wade Shows Midway Monday - Special limited wristband offer, 10 rides for only $10.00. Wristbands can be purchased at any Wade Shows ticket booth on the midway.

Fire and Rescue Day, Beef Day, Senior Citizen's Day
Fire and Rescue Day - allows for free admission to any active or retired member of a fire department or emergency services organization who has a duly issued picture ID from that department or organization.
Beef Day - “Branding Iron Cook-off” media grilling contest beginning at 10:00 am. At 12:30pm New York State FFA Chapters will take over as they compete in the 10th Annual “Create the Perfect Burger” contest sponsored by the New York Beef Council and Tops Markets.

Women's Day, Ride For $5 Day
Women’s Day - Plan on attending the annual Women’s Day Luncheon plus many other special events throughout the day. Highlights include the Fine Arts and Photo Exhibition in the Art & Home Center as well as judging in the Culinary Arts area.
Ride For $5 Day - Bicyclists can enjoy the scenic beauty of the Onondaga County’s trail along Onondaga Lake and a day at the Great New York State Fair on the brand new “Ride For $5 Day,” Wednesday, August 31, 2016.

Armed Forces Day, $3 Thursday
Armed Forces Day allows free admission to any active duty or veteran with military identification (Military ID Card, form DD-214 or NYS Driver License, Learner Permit or non-driver ID card with a veteran designation).
$3 Thursday - admission to the Fair is just $3:00

Six Nations Day, Student's Day
Six Nations Day
Native Americans receive free admission on this day. ID is not required, but it is asked that attendees enter through Gate 4 only. Make sure to see all the Six Nations Day participants in the Special Day Parade at 6:00 pm
Youths 18 years old and under admitted free on this day. ID showing date of birth may be requested to allow free admittance.

Labor Day, Summer Send Off "Dollar Day"
Labor Day is to honor those working women and men who make American strong. Supporters of labor can meet at 10:00 am. near Gate 4 and then at 10:30 am. they will march to Chevy Court for a Labor Day rally.
Summer Send Off “Dollar Day”
Adult admission to the Fair will be $1.00 per person all day.
All of the rides in the Wade Shows Midway will be $1.00 per ride.
