Fallbrook Avocado Festival 2014 Schedule|
April 13, 2014
Date: April 13, 2014
Time: 9:00 am. to 5:00 pm.
Since the 1960s, thousands of avocado lovers have come to Fallbrook California, located in San Diego's North County
Inland to sample avocados, check out the crazy cooking contest entries, buy funky avocado-themed gifts and enjoy
bands, live entertainment and friendly beer gardens.
You can visit the many craft and food booths at the Avocado Festival. Colorful
booths line Main and Alvarado Street featuring unique clothing, hats, arts, crafts, jewelry, and farm-fresh produce
for purchase. A variety of bands and other live entertainment are offered for the pleasure of festival-goers.
Beer gardens and numerous food vendors cater to your hunger and thirst.
People have discovered the joys of guacamole, as well as the delightful new flavor of avocado chips during their
first visit to the Avocado festival. The activities are plentiful at the festival with cooking competitions (come prepared with your best guacamole recipe), as well exhibitions
showcasing local talent. Don't miss the race where the cars are made from avocados.
If you have never seen a giant, inflatable avocado, just come to the Fallbrook Avocado Festival in California
and see it in living color - the color green of course. Fallbrook Arts, Inc. will once again create
"Avenue of the Arts" on Alvarado Street.
